Jessica Best is the Director of Operations at Ashburn Academy of Dance, where she has been part of the leadership team since 2018. Her connection to AAD began even earlier, when her family joined the studio community in 2012. Her daughter, Ella, grew up dancing at AAD and is now pursuing her degree in dance at Bennington College, making Jessica’s connection to the studio both professional and deeply personal.
Jessica brings decades of experience in management, education, customer relations, and the performing arts, with a focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for dancers and their families. She has spent more than 12 years in early childhood education and has extensive experience in business management, team development, and community engagement.
She holds a Certificate in the Business of Entertainment from New York University and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies.
Jessica’s creative work includes choreography for musical theatre and community productions, including Gateway Community Theatre’s inaugural production of Bye Bye Birdie, as well as numerous productions for the Cheetah Players in Sterling, Virginia.
She is passionate about supporting dancers as whole people and helping create an environment where they can grow in confidence, creativity, and artistry.
